The salesperson was very quick to acknowledge my need, showed me the location, and walked with me to it while describing the product to me. It was exactly what I needed at a great Best Buy price.

The item was well packed/protected from damage. What I didn't realize was that my laptop (MacBook Pro) does not have a USB connector, thus I need to purchase an adaptor.

Good product but you cannot connect it to HyperDrive - USB Type-C Hub. You must use a standard USB-C.

it worked great for what needed just that it has to be on a flat surface so if your on your couch with your laptop on your lap it won't work that well

Only problem with the apple super drive is you must use an official apple adapter other wise you get some funny errors any offially Apple usb-c to usb will work

Working excellent. Looks as sleek as the computers. Do a lot of recording and use it burn my music to put on other computers. Like to have a unit from Apple that will do multiple discs at once.

...but I do, because I own a three-year-old MacBook Pro, which came without an optical drive. :/ Oh, well—it could be worse: I could own a *new* MacBook Pro, which comes with hardly any ports, never mind an optical drive. The external drive shouldn't be necessary, but it is, and it works great.

This product is essential to my music project. The reproduction is flawless.

Drives add a lot of weight and girth to a computer, and these days, they are rarely used. Buy a MacBook Air and have this around for those rare occasions when it might be needed.

Need a DVD drive at times...Having it externally to hook up means, I don't have to worry about built in "breaking" Easy to hook up to laptop, works great!

I wanted an external drive for my new Mac Computer. It works great and is fast. I love it! I could have bought a more inexpensive one but wanted the one that works best with Apple products.

My build-in DVD from laptop stopped working so I purchased an external USB DVD RW Drive. It works well and it's reasonably priced. I'm happy with the product.

I previously purchased an off brand drive and didn’t like the performance. I purchased this Apple drive because my experience with Apple has always been great!

This has been a great addition to my IMAC. it does just as I need. It works great with reading disc and has allowed me to look at saved photos and much more. Thanks again apple.

I was a bit mad when apple stopped including the dvd drives with their computers, but it's so convenient being able to use this with both my macbooks without having to even take my movie out!

Ok. So I got my new MacBook Air and found it required this external drive for cd/dvd options. Got it. But with the new MacBook Air it needed another connection.
