Biggest complaint about the Mac is no disc drive, making it impossible to download certain programs. This drive works great, just hate that you have to purchase it separately.

No complaints. Apple products does it job and more.

Its a great Apple product. Works as advertised. Just keep in mind that it can only be used with Apple computers.

I had to get this device for my old MacBook and it is remarkably amazing.

I bought the superdrive to go along with my 15in Macbook Pro since they no longer come with a built in disc drive. This is a great add on to a computer for anyone who still uses discs for work or school!

I still use CDs and DVDs so I needed this superdrive. It is unfortunate that the newer computers don't include built-in CD/DVD drive, but this solves the problem.

I previously had a macbook pro so I am extremely pleased with my new 16"version. Good product, what more can I say?

Very nice product and simple to set up and use. This product adds a lot of additional capabilities to the already very capable MAC Book PRO.

Just what I needed. Plugged it in and started burning DVD's and CD's. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to preserve movies and audios.

Always worry I'm not going to have enough room on my hard drive. This little gem takes away the angst. We bought two -- one for home and one for work -- and couldn't be happier!

A little expensive for a drive but so much more reliable than the cheaper ones. I use Apple everything so I prefer Apple brand for the quality and service.

I bought it to burn DVDs. I have only burned a few but it has worked fine for me. I'm using it on a 2017 iMac with OS X 10.14.5. Installation was easy.

In my estimation you can always rely on Apple products for quality and long-term value. Their support is second to none. I highly recommend this and other Apple products.

Granted, this CD/DVD player with ability to burn your CD library is a little pricey, but it is worth the cost. Seamless plug and play and already loading more CD's into my iTunes library.

Every now and again you need to reach into the past to download software versus utilizing current technology. This is a good back-up for that

This is great its very easy to set up and use. At first I thought mine was broken because it didn't automatically take the disc when I put it in you just have to kind of push it and it will then turn on.

This DVD player works perfectly, but collects dust and takes up space on my desk. It was costly, especially since the older iMac had a DVD player in it. I did not like that I had to purchase one separately.

Love apple products was disappointing that I gad to buy things for the laptop separately but loving how everything works together

This drive is a great addition to my Mac desktop. One of the best things about it is that it doesn't require an additional power source. Exactly what I would expect from Apple. Price isn't that bad either.
