This was my second CD/DVD player in less than 2 weeks. I should have purchased the Apple CD/DVD drive first then I would not have had any problems.

Had a previous universal type at a lower price and it was not working reliably. This specific Apple branded type works everytime with no problems, abit more costlier.

Don't use a CD very often, but when I do, the external superdrive is easy to use. Right out of the box, I plugged the unit in and was able to download some pictures to the CD without problems.

Compact but needs an eject button for convenience.

In changing from a PC with DVDs easy to watch and burn, I was initially disappointed that the IMac did not come with this capacity. However this makes it possible again.

I bought the SuperDrive for my MacBook Pro and it works extremely well. If you are having trouble getting the DVD, all you need to do is drag the disk icon from your desktop to the trash bin!

After trying an off brand drive and being extremely disappointed I decided to go with the SuperDrive. I am so glad I made the investment. It reads and writes disks very fast and is very durable.

The hidden enclave took some getting used to, but there is something magical about watching CDs or DVDs "disappear" and "reappear" automatically, I can't imagine using a manual drive ever again!

Solid product, for all the pictures I have on DVD over the years and need to import, this is the tool to do it with.

This Superdrive allows me to access all my archived DVD movies and CDs even with my new, drive-less state-of-art computer. Perfect!

I purchased this drive as part of my new iMac. I still record a lot of music that I download and this drive is just what I need. It has worked fine without any problems. The price was right and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I don't have any reservations about recommending this product.

The SuperDrive works fabulously, but make sure yours is working before you take it home! These boxes tend to get dropped a lot by people. My first one was defective and wouldn't mount anything. But once I swapped it out for a working one- it was to my expectations.

Unit is compact and ready to use. I do not want to spend a lot of time setting things up and dealing with integration issues that you might run into with different companies software or hardware.

I had to go with apple when I was selecting a disc drive. There were a few other options but the feel of this drive was alot more solid feeling than the others.

Works perfectly. Love that the CD loads like a car CD player rather than having a tray. Have used for about a year with no problems.

I purchased this drive for my MacBook Pro. It does the job but I find it unusual that they do not have a drive with a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-3) connector. In order to use the drive, you need to buy a Thunderbolt 3 to USB adapter cable.

i don't have a need for a DVD on the Macbook often, mostly when traveling for playing dvds. this is very lightweight and does not require a separate power cord. to date it has worked fine.

although my mac book doesn’t come with a hard drive this is just as great. this works great with my other apple products.

DVD or CD drives may be archaic to today's computer equipment but if you don't have one you'll surely need one! Apple builds the best and Best Buy sells quality equipment at reasonable prices.
