Always good to have a CD/DVD drive, watch movies, load programs not on wifi. Operates easlily and fast. Great product.

this cd/rw drive works great with my apple MacBook and my windows laptop. very well made not plastic like other ones.

Simple and clean exterior design as you would expect from Apple. Great for notebooks as you don't need a power plug. Very portable.

I bought a new MacBook Air which doesn't have a CD/DVD drive so I got this Apple accessory. It is extremely easy to use and beautiful to look at, just like my MacBook. I use it a lot to load music from CDs to my iTunes account. Unlike with my iPhone and iPad, iTunes doesn't automatically show that the drive is attached until you load a CD into it, so don't panic. Read the instructions that come in the box (of course I didn't until I had to). Unbeatable value actually and I'm very happy with it.

Been needing this for some time. Glad to see it is so compact and the silver color matches my mac mini. Very versatile.

I purchased the Apple SuperDrive for use with my 2018 MacBook Pro. I plugged it into my "non-apple" adapter and could not get it to work. I took it to the Geek Squad and after trouble-shooting, it was determined it needed to be used with an Apple adapter. After this initial mystery was solved, it works great,

This SuperDrive is small, compact and simple to use. It did not require any work to use it with my MacBook.

All I had to do was plug into USB port and go.....love that it didn't require anything else. Loads CD music super fast.

This external CD/DVD drive became a necessary peripheral accessory when it was no longer built into the MacBook laptop. It works the same as the previously built-in units. It accepts and ejects disks in the same manner as most car sound systems using a motorized mechanism. One of the downside of this product is that it didn't recognize the Blu-Ray disk format. The price is little bit pricy though.

Everything is digital now! I got this so my wfe could put her old cds on her macbook. After a month, it is still sitting, unopened, in the bedroom. From an aesthetic perspective, the box looks very sleek and contemporary sitting on top of the dresser. The light reflects off the front giving the cardboard a nice, lustrous sheen. From a functional perspective, well, it hasn't 'not worked' yet...

This disk drive is easy to install and use. just plug into the USB port and insert disc. Very quiet operation .
