So far, no problems and works without any setup with my MacBook Pro 2017 15” w touch bar. Had some setup problems with an LG so stuck with the Apple family.

This is my first Mac and am starting to like it more each day. Yes, some things are a bit different but once I learn it, I like it! The Apple support team has been a true blessing for helping me navigate this new and different system. Thanks for all your support!

The Apple Superdrive is the perfect addition for my macbook air. Now I can watch my dvd movies when I am bored. So far everything is perfect and I finally have what I needed.

Since the new Mac book Pro that I recently purchased did not have a disk drive on board I needed to acquire this external version. It installed and functioned flawlessly.

Very reliable disk drive for any Mac. For newer Mac's, that support USB-C, you will have to adapter, which you can find elsewhere.

I bought this to use with my Mac Mini. It has the same look as the Mac Mini and works seamlessly with it. The salesman at Best Buy price matched without me even asking. Good price.

I don't have a need to use this often, but because the new computer does not have a built in DVD/CD drive it was necessary to get one.

You can't go wrong with an Apple product. Have never had a problem with these drives at home or at work. They work great.

Super easy plug and play Mac option for CDs and DVDs. Works well, loads quickly, and playback is seamless.

So got this for my Mac Mini. The USB cord is very short, but works well sitting on top of the mini. The cords also attached meaning you can't swap out for a longer one. You could use a USB hub or cord extender though. Works as expected. Blu-ray support would make this drive extra super.

Since I like to buy and listen to cds, this is perfect for me since my new MacBook doesn’t have a cd/dvd drive. Works great, as expected.

OK, why sell this product that has to connect to my new Mac via a USB port when the Mac needs the newer connection?

I had to replace my old drive that was 10yr old usb drive plug and play can’t be access from my MacBook I will have to check it out

I’m this digital age we’re all sitting on our old tech. Laptops,iPads and etc... so you either buy this to transfer your music , dvds.. this is great

Well, bought it since the newer MacBooks don't come with the internal disc drive, but actually prefer that compromise to reduce weight. It does its job. Just a bummer that it doesn't read BluRay... For obvious reasons. That's the only thing preventing me from a full five-star rating.

This is one of those things you have to buy if you need to use a hard wired connection. Hard wired is better then wireless every day of the week and in my case, I use it to setup networks and connecting wireless isn't an option. So at least the quality of this product is top notch .

I needed a CD drive to transfer some data. I looked around an decided to go with the Superdrive, it works well and has no install necessary, just "plug and use".
