    Works great once I got it set up. They should have more instructions on install. You would think the Apple logo would be on top, but it needs to be on the bottom for it to work.

    So far, no problems and works without any setup with my MacBook Pro 2017 15” w touch bar. Had some setup problems with an LG so stuck with the Apple family.

    I you have a new iMac, this is a must have item. You can burn CDs and DVDs as well as use it as a regular cd drive for installing software.

    Works great for burning video DVDs. Nicely constructed. Feels much more substantial than cheap plastic drives.

    I’m this digital age we’re all sitting on our old tech. Laptops,iPads and etc... so you either buy this to transfer your music , dvds.. this is great

    Needed this to convert a few files was unfortunate that I has to purchase this for that purpose but didn't have another choice. Overall pretty product just as all Apple products are.

    The Apple Superdrive is the perfect addition for my macbook air. Now I can watch my dvd movies when I am bored. So far everything is perfect and I finally have what I needed.

    My only complaint is I had to purchase separately from my iMac. But then again, all I have owned was laptops over the years so I was under the impression that this would be standard.

    I needed a CD drive to transfer some data. I looked around an decided to go with the Superdrive, it works well and has no install necessary, just "plug and use".
