I purchased this to play and record music from various internet sources. I found the product to be great for this purpose.

Good prodcut for the price. Not impressed overall just a plain Blue ray with nothing special to it. This product is small and easily installed and is worth the price, but does not stand out among any of the competitors. The color is good, the features allow for solid playing of the Blue Ray.

The lack of a drive on my new 27" IMAC meant I could not run my printer or other discs without an external drive. This Apple product was on sale and works well!

This is an excellent external optical drive for Apple computers and though more money than those made by third party vendors, it is worth the money.

This Apple SuperDrive 8x external DVD±RW/CD-RW drive is great for double-layer media and is great to back up files as well.

I needed an external CD drive to copy CDs to the computer and a USB drive. It also plays DVDs, so this was a good purchase to make.

First of all, it looks very nice. Bought this to burn dvds and just because I haven't quite moved away from the disc yet but my new iMac has. I thought it being an Apple product, it would be the best and most compatible with my iMac but I feel that I should have bought something else. First of all, at $80, it is in no way a good deal. Second of all, 8x write speeds are way too slow. You would be better off buying something else that is both significantly faster and cheaper.

Great design and functions as expected. If you can't make the external DVD break, it's a must. We still use the drive to create DVD's of the kids to send to Folks.

I love Apple products and have bought a lot from Best Buy. Experience there has been exceptional. The drive I purchased works fantastic as all my Apple products do. Thank You Ed

I bought this product because I have the 2016 Macbook and it doesn't have a cd player. This is perfect for watching dvds on my laptop and it isn't a hassle at all.

This external SuperDrive has allowed me to play DVDs or CDs on my computer. It's durable and works great!

I hate how the newer macbooks don't have a CD drive, so it sucks to have to fork out extra money for one if you need one. At any rate, it does what it is supposed to!
