This is my 13th computer - always had HP prior to this. Like this and the programs and the way it interacts with my iPod and IPad. This is Gildersleeve the 13th.

Downloaded a bunch of my CD's to my IPod, saving money and getting exactly the music I wanted. So happy I took the suggestion of your Sales Rep - happy camper.

I used this to put a whole bunch of my CDs onto my Apple laptop and then onto my iPod Touch. Worked well. One could always wish for more speed, but it was pretty quick.

Amazing product. Now that most computer companies don't include disk drives this is just an easy accessory to add to your set up. I've ised it for multiple computer.

Provides a good source for listening to CDs and DVDs. Miss that functionality on the newer Macs.

My new macbook didnt have a cd player. So I bought this external cd/dvd player to be able to watch dvds and use cd's. It works great and I highly recommend it.

Connected immediately and read my disks with no problems. Copied the data very quickly.

Although all I've used the drive for (to date) is reading in books on CD, the read speed is twice as fast as my old CD reader. Simple plug and play functionality with my new iMac.

Perfect with my iMac 24. Quick set up and flawless performance.

At first, I was surprised that the DVD slot was taken out of the big iMac. But it makes sense to keep it separate, even tho my old one never gave me a lick of trouble.

There are still reasons to have a drive and being an Apple loyalist, this is the only way to go. Works great and is well built.

I got this as a gift for my mom. She has an apple computer and wanted this to do her work on the computer. I got it for her and she been happy ever since. No complaints! So its been a worthwhile purchase.

Tried a different drive that didn't work. The Apple drive plunged in and worked perfectly and it was a return so it was discounted.

No stupid flimsy door to open or close. Just slide it in and PRESTO, takes it and loads it. Very solid build. Like anything else, you get what you pay for! Highly recommend .

This was a great purchase and very much needed. I accidentally inserted a CF Card in my burner and Paniced. Thank goodness for the external burner. Back in buisness again.

Needed a drive to supplement the MacBook Air I just bought to transfer some older programs from CD/DVDs. Uploads were very fast and programs are working fine.

I purchased this to go with the new IMAC I bought. It was not to expensive even though I thought it would be. I just can't understand though why there was no DVD/CD Drive already on the IMAC. For what it costs one should be already installed!! That's just my opinion.

Great laptop. I was reluctant to switch from PCs. Now I wish I had made the switch sooner. All Microsoft Office products work well. Laptop is instantly ready to use. Integration with iPhone and iPad are easy and useful. Got a great price on an open box.

So far this is one of the best investments I have made for my Macbook Pro because I love using CDs for multiple uses and I couldn't without this device. Great purchase so far.
