Needed a way to view access my cd files went online and found this and read all reviews so I bought it. Best purchase since my Apple computer!!!

Took a while for CD reader to become "acquainted with " my Mac. But overall I am happy with my purchases. Wish original salesman had offered the additions or at least educated my as to what was NOT included in the Mac I purchased.

The CD burner in My old I Mac Was giving me trouble I can use it in a new 27" I Mac I will be purchasing soon from Best Buy

I needed to transfer some music onto my macbook,it worked great!!! The only thing that i didn't like was the fact that the wire is forever attached to the drive,so taking it places are sort of a pain. But that is really splitting hairs its great.

Beats by Dre they jus make a great product , i'm ver y pleased with the purshased i made and wouldn't hesitate to recomend this product to a friend.

This super drive 8X DVD = RW/CD works terrific! It helps support and enables me to back up my files and load my favorite CD's!

With the Mac not having a disc drive built into it, this is a great option to have a disc drive to watch dvd's or install software that is available on disc only.

If you're going to load CDs or DVDs to your iMac, I highly recommend getting this product, especially since the newer ones don't have a disc drive built in.

Once again Apple makes a really good product that is essential for the newer Macs that don't have internal drives.

my wife takes a lot of pictures with her I phone and stores them into this mini harddrive or flashdrive it really comes in handy when storing photos or info

Recently upgraded to MAC from Windows machine. Only one drive available, and at 8x is slower than I am used to. Works great but should be a lot faster and more comparable to Windows based units.

Definitely suggest others to purchase. I believe in Apple products & Best Buy has a great staff especially the Apple representative.

Needed for daughter going to college. Decided not to take tv and blu ray player but wanted to be able to play movies on DVD so got this for her MacBook Air.

Needed to get this since the IMac doesn't come with one built into it. Has performed flawless for burning data/music and the loading of software programs.

New iMacs do not have an internal disc drive. Therefore this device is necessary until the rest of the computing world catches up to wireless downloads.

Mandatory for any newer Macs since Apple no longer includes an optical drive. Works great right out of the box, plug and play.

I wish it was built in, but I understand they aren't doing that any more. although it's another accessory that you need to buy, it's a sweet piece of equipment

I'm so glad I purchased this device. I have some disks that I refer to. Also, I needed it to add antivirus protection. It was at a good price too.
