sleek design no frills i have been using this on a mac mini performs flawlessly with cd dvd no wonder its a superdrive

We got this with our new MacBook Air and it works like it should. It's light and small so it's easy to tote around if needed.

I was hesitant to make the purchase at first but I read the reviews and decided to try it. I am so glad I did. Previously my computer was so slow when opening apps, switching from one app to another, or just going into finder, it was painfully slow. I now feel like I have a new computer. There is little delay and I can have several programs open at the same time and switch back and forth with little time loss. I am so glad I made the switch to using SSD.

This compact simple streamlined unit is so slim and sleek that saves desktop space and it works beautifully.

Works as you would expect. Still need CD capability for my Mac and this is easy to connect and disconnect as needed.

Product works great, but it is pretty expensive for a dvd-rw drive in my opinion. Apple makes solid products though

Works well with my iMac. It is easy to use and connect. Aesthetically pleasing. It is unfortunately a little on the pricey side.

I was leery it wouldn't work as well since it's an attachment, but I haven't had any problems. Yes, it's way too expensive when you've already purchased a MacBook, but if you are in need of a cd drive this will work fine.

Bought this product along with the HYPERDRIVE DUO Hub. Both were new from box. The hyperdrive fit perfectly in my wifes Mackbook, but when she plugged in the SuperDrive unit to it the unit would not work. We plugged other items into the HYPERDRIVE DUO Hub and they worked fine so I returned the Superdrive for a replacement. I found that the new Superdrive did the same thing. Went to Walmart and bought a simple USB to C adapter cable in the Superdrive worked as advertised. I do recommend the product. Just make sure you buy the correct adapter cable and not the HYPERDRIVE DUO Hub.

I didn't realize that the 27 inch iMac did not have a drive until I got it home. I've had a 2009 model, still working as I write this, and just didn't think to ask or look. No problem. I ordered this, hooked it up, and played some previously recorded music. The Mac recognized it right away, and I have not had any problem thus far. Runs very silent, and is so slim, it's not noticeable as an add on. Just blends in nicely.

Very useful and compatible with my MacBook Air I recommend it for traveling as well!
