    It works perfectly. I use it to burn DVDs and import CDs into my Airbook. Couldn't live without it.

    I needed to transfer some music onto my macbook,it worked great!!! The only thing that i didn't like was the fact that the wire is forever attached to the drive,so taking it places are sort of a pain. But that is really splitting hairs its great.

    Recently upgraded to MAC from Windows machine. Only one drive available, and at 8x is slower than I am used to. Works great but should be a lot faster and more comparable to Windows based units.

    If you're going to load CDs or DVDs to your iMac, I highly recommend getting this product, especially since the newer ones don't have a disc drive built in.

    my wife takes a lot of pictures with her I phone and stores them into this mini harddrive or flashdrive it really comes in handy when storing photos or info

    With the Mac not having a disc drive built into it, this is a great option to have a disc drive to watch dvd's or install software that is available on disc only.
