love my apple products, i never seem have any trouble with them, just wish they weren't so pricy

Sometimes you just want to make a CD from a song list. This is what you need. Also you can put your data on it for storage.

With Apple not having a CD player this is an excellent alternative to playing training videos.

does require a powered USB port and well worth the $69.99 as replacement for my 27" iMac original drive that died after 5 years.

Small and compact works well with MacBook Pro runs great and good quality picture would recommend for add on to your notebook

Overall happy with this external drive. However I think Apple skimped on the design. Yes, it matches my Apple all in one however, there are no buttons or lights to indicate anything (on/off, eject). Aside from that one thing... works well.

This is very helpful because my computer does not have a hard drive. I use it to add things to my computer

The Apple external drive works as expected, however, keep in mind that you may need a USB C adapter if using a Mac.

Nice Superdrive, but I really liked my original IMAC where the drive was integrated into the machine. I guess something had to give to reduce size.

The external CD player is exactly what we wanted. We did online pickup in store and it worked out great!

You need this only if you need to use CDs or DVDs or burn them. Not too much use these days when everything is downloaded from Internet.

It is a useful addition for the computer. I like the fact that I can conveniently use discs, which I couldn't use on my old MacMini.

Works great would rather have an built in drive but i wanted a new Mac not a older version I guess it's a marketing scheme to buy them separate

Now I can take my designs from a disk and put it on the computer and transfer to my machine and print it off

This a high quality drive that will meet all your needs. It's als a must have for loading CDs or DVDs not to mention it just looks great also.

I bought this because I was having issues with my MacBook Pro CD Drive. I didn't realize that it wasn't compatible with the 2013 model. It's alright though. I will be getting a new MacBook soon so I can use it then.

Bought this and returned it due to finding my other, cheaper, non Apple one. I should have kept it. This other one does not compare with any apple product I have like actual Apple products-even when it says it's Apple compatible.

The Apple Super Drive is a snap to use with the MacBook Pro. Just plug it in - nothing to download. The finish also matches the computer. The sales staff at Best Buy was helpful in answering my questions about this product.
