    This SuperDrive works great. I have had no problems reading or writing to any cd's or dvd's. I like the fact that it matches my Mac Mini.

    I hate extra peripherals so personally I’d take the adds weight and have the DVD player in the computer. Since I’m in the minority I’m glad this little guy is available.

    unfortunately, Apple took the drive out of the new iMacs and this became necessary. It works very well

    I bought this product to go along with my new Mac computer as it does not have a slot for DVDs but have not had the opportunity to use it yet so undecided as to rating

    Though the new Mac Book doesn't come with a CDRW/DVDRW, the need for one still is required. This is a great drive to meet that need.
