Plays DVDs CDs, burns them as well. Good picture and sound quality. Didn't require a lot of time to figure out how to use it.

It works great! I needed an external drive for my music, and this was perfect.

This DVD player is great for playing DVD disc. Sorry, no Blue Ray capability. I love the flexibility of not carrying the added weight like most other Laptop units.

Typical of Apple products. A little costly, but high quality and performs as advertised.

I was disappointed to find out the new macs had no CD drive which got me to buy the smart drive it doesn't operate as good at the cd drive on the mac which ripped some of the most scratched CD's the smart drive doesn't rip the same way

This will only work with Apple adapters only, any Third party adapters will not work. It gets the job done but sadly this is not a blu Ray Compatible. Built quality is great and it works as advertised.

This is a good product. My only (minor) complaint is that some of the disks I've inserted have not downloaded properly to iTunes. Not sure if this is due to the drive or the actual disks. I'm satisfied with this purchase, though.

I am a light user of the drive. It is handy for travel and I don't need to carry the extra weight around when I don't need to use it.

SuperDrive purchased to go with the Mac Mini. Does not have a activity light, so it's hard to know when it is being accessed. Appears to work as expected, I was able to create a DVD that worked in another device.

A must buy. My husband is happy with it. We first bought an off-brand and did not work. Very happy with this purchase.

This CD drive works well and does exactly what I need it to do. Connection works flawlessly with my mac. Simply plug and play.
