    It works well for using discs on Mac except you have to push it in pretty far before it inserts it and reads it. You almost feel like you’re jamming the thing sometimes.

    Bought the USB Super Drive just because I am old fashion and not totally digital. Disappointed at first because it totally failed after one use. But Best Buy was great---replaced it with no problems. The one I have now works great.

    However I never was able to use it as it was not compatible with our laptop as initially thought. It was well built but we returned it for the proper external drive that was compatible.

    Bought this for only a couple disks I needed to download programs. Tried to take it back because if the noise it makes. I was told that it is supposed to be loud. Other than that it works and does not take up much table space and is easy to place in a drawer when it in use.
