    Needed to write files to DVD. Worked without a hitch! Was able to watch DVDs from overseas without issue as well. Good product!

    No software installation required. The easiest plug and play ever. It is a bit slow though. But I rather wait than install additional software to make another brand work.

    Nice that matches finish of MacBook Pro. Satisfactory data transfer speed. Only needed to move those pesky CDs to new laptop - sigh.
