    I was ecstatic to finally buy my SuperDrive but wish that Apple could find a way to combine flash drive and disc drive so consumers like US can afford their products without going broke buying each accessory.

    shouldnt need to buy one of these for a mac mini, but as apple has removed them from the 2012 / 13 models. what can ya do. come on apple, put the optical drive back in the mini's or lower the price of the super drive.

    Not sure I like having to hook it into my laptop when I need to use a disk. Also confusing on how to eject the disk. Have had to google it and still can't remember. It works well though, no problems other then that.

    Many people don't use cd's anymore. But when you do, you'll need this cd drive from Apple. It's a great product.

    The only flaw with the new Apple computer is that there is no dvd . So the external unit is needed.
