Great external hard drive.

This was necessary since some of the cd's were corrupt and we did not want them to freeze up our Mac minis while working on them. The Mac external hard drive was a perfect choice for the purposes of what we intended and it takes up so little space you can place it anywhere.

I suck at writing reviews but I liked this product

Anyways, Best Buy sent me another one and this one did not get stolen hallelujah. Worked very well. Getting the disk out was literally a hassle, this is more than likely a user error not the product . Other than that, great purchase. And a real journey.

If you're a Mac User, get it.

This drive works perfectly, and as intended. The only caveat is that it does not work with Non-Retina and Non-Air MacBooks. It's made solely for MacBooks that doe not include an optical drive. If you own a MacBook Air, or Retina Pro buy it. If not, skip it.

Great disc drive!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I went to a MacBook I was sad that the cd drives were no longer built in, I wanted a drive because I do buy CD's still and make CD's. I was faced with the option of going to an Apple brand or other brand. I decided to go with Apple and I've never had any issues with it and I've had it well over a year. It plays dvds without error. I don't know how else I could brag about this product. It's durable and well worth the money!
