External drive

Since laptops rarely come with any disc drives anymore it was a great addition. Since I had disc with pics on them I needed to transfer to a USB drive.

If you're a Mac User, get it.

This drive works perfectly, and as intended. The only caveat is that it does not work with Non-Retina and Non-Air MacBooks. It's made solely for MacBooks that doe not include an optical drive. If you own a MacBook Air, or Retina Pro buy it. If not, skip it.

Great disc drive!

I was faced with the option of going to an Apple brand or other brand. I decided to go with Apple and I've never had any issues with it and I've had it well over a year. It plays dvds without error. I don't know how else I could brag about this product. It's durable and well worth the money!

Apple Super Drive

I can also watch movies with it on my laptop.

Great size and works great with Macbook

We had an older CD get stuck and had to research and work at getting it out using commands. An external ejection button would make it much easier. Still a great product - just will be aware of putting in old CD/DVDs.

A great traveling companion

It is one of those things that you have to think about before taking with you but it works great. The only downside is that it would be nice if it worked with my Windows PC but that is a fairly minor complaint. Other than that, love it.
