    Sad how the cd drive doesn’t come on the computer any longer. I still use cds/dvds occasionally and have to use this adapter to access things. Extra work.

    I bought this to go with my new MacBook Pro since it doesn't have a CD Rom. It was inexpensive, works great, but unfortunately doesn't play bluray, only downside.
