    Allows Apple laptop to read and play CDs and DVDs.. the newer Spllr laptops no longer have CD slots so you cannot play a cD or burn a CD

    Machine works excellent. Does exactly what the manufacturer said it would. The only short fall is that the Drive does come with a USB-C connector.
