Easy setup. Works flawlessly and much needed accessory since I have disc I still like to use.

This product worked perfectly and is compact and easy to take with my laptop.

Now that cd/dvd drives are no longer being built into macbooks, the external drive is an essential component for my business. The great thing about using the apple version is that you plug it in and it works instantly. I was able to use out of the box within one minute with no problem. the only thing I might need is an extension with additional USB hubs, so it can be plugged in while using other USB attached components.

Very convenient. Able to fit any storage when you travel. Not too big. Blends in well in you desk.

I understand why the drive is separate so the laptops and iMacs can be thinner, sleeker and lighter, but as always, Apple products are on the pricey side. At least (in my experience) these products last and have been dependable. In regards to this super drive, works great - I haven't burned any disks yet but it does what it needs to do so far! Wish there was a carry case to go with it.

With the newer versions of MacBook Pro and also MacBook Air it's very frustrating to not have a CD port. The SuperDrive is very very simple and easy to use and makes installing software or downloading CD's a breeze. I waited a year after purchasing my Mac to buy the SuperDrive but I wish I bought it sooner. Well worth the money.

Plug and play, easy to use with new computers that don’t have a drive in them.

I asked for this for Christmas as my Mac computer does not have a way to view CD's etc. Frankly I haven't used it yet...to busy thanks/no thanks to COVID-19 even though I am home all the time! It just doesn't seem like a priority right now...Since I am a big Apple user I assume that it will work well and get the job done!

I purchase my MacBook Air and thankfully my mom noticed it didn't have a cd drive before we left the store and she saw this in the shelf and purchased it. It's so easy to use -- I do wish it was included with the MacBook itself as I have a tendency to loose things, but it doesn't make me like my MacBook any less! I'm glad Apple came out with this.

I purchased the apple external super drive because I own an Imac Air, a great small machine that simply is too compact to contain a disc player. It actually plays movies better than my Samsung Blue ray player, and of course was instantly compatible. As an example, I had a damaged disc which would not play on my dvd player. When I inserted the disc into the external I could watch it on my computer!

Compact clean design. Easy to set up and operate. Versatile, use with all types of discs.

It's easy to use but just really expensive. If you have time try to search for other options.

this is a great compact external apple dvd drive, works greats with both desktop and laptop.

Does everything I want without any problems. Better to purchase this than spending big $ on a computer with a internal drive. Do yourself a favor if you have an Apple Air computer or Apple computer spend the extra $ and purchase this external drive. There are other brands I am sure that do just as well but for an extra $20 you know it will work correctly with an Apple computer.

I intended to spend a lot less money then what I did. But the salesman showed me the advantage of spending a bit more. WOW the picture is great. Set up was very easy, set it up, plug it in to your tv service, connect to wi-fi and it was done. I would not recommend this if you do not like seeing every little facial feature and facial imperfection. Because you do. I never knew TV could be like this.
