    This product worked as advertised. The dongle's line out is just as fragile as all of Apple's cables, though.

    The first drive I ordered through the internet was defective. I returned it to the store and got a new one. The one by mail did not have any plastic wrap but the new one from the store did. This makes me believe that the first one was a return and was tried out on me. For that reason, I give my purchase three stars.
