    My old MacBook Pro had a USB port and a CD-ROM built in. The new MacBook Pro requires these things to be added. So far the SuperDrivevworks great with a USB adapter.

    Yes your new $2000 Mac laptop doesn’t have a dvd drive. You’ll need this and the additional adapter cord so you can use it. Irritating the cord doesn’t come with this
