    It works well with the Imac 27, my only complaint is no blu ray support. I knew this when I purchased the drive

    Apple computers don’t come with an cd drive but they have this external one and it works great. Now I can down load my music cds and upload my printer. Love it

    I like this product a lot. It doesn't play blue ray dvds so that's a bummer, but overall its a great product.

    I needed an external drive because all of the laptops I looked at to purchase did not have a CD/DVD drive in them. This drive was recommended to me because it has its own power supply and that is important if the user wants to burn videos. This was hard to find at the store because most store salespeople did not know anything about whether a power supply was included or not.

    If you buy a new Mac and need a CD drive then you will have to buy on of these. Setup is as easy as can be.
