It was not compatible with my sons older Mac. Not supported by Apple. We love Apple although not this one time. Try this product I strongly suggest because Best Buy and Apple have GREAT customer service.

No so happy, but what can you do?

It would be easier and sleeker to have this drive in the computer than to have it take up room on my desk. Also, can't apple just provide a button on the drive to extract the CD? But no, you have to remember to go through the computer to extract the CD. If you need a CD drive, you really have no choice.

It sometimes ejects the disc before it is done uploading to the drive. The speed of this drive is also so so. Aside from it looking cool, there isn't really much there.
