Not compatible with my mac book
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It was not compatible with my macbook pro. This device has a cable that comes and can not be disconnect that ends as a USB and the newer macbooks has a C type. I tried to convert the connection but then then I get an alert thay says that I must connect the device to power. Definitely not what I expected from an apple product to apple product.

Useful Accessory

It works great for this. Not so much for playing DVDs. The controls could be better and it is a bit slow getting the DVD loaded. This drive is pricey as all Apple hardware is.
