    this external burner does a very good job of burning discs effortlessly and quietly. never had any issues with this unit at all. for the price it is a good solid value.

    It was not compatible with my macbook pro. This device has a cable that comes and can not be disconnect that ends as a USB and the newer macbooks has a C type. I tried to convert the connection but then then I get an alert thay says that I must connect the device to power. Definitely not what I expected from an apple product to apple product.
