Ask before you buy sight unseen online

I was all ready to get start d when it arrived, not realizing I had to buy an adapter separately from Amazon. The adapter I ordered is not compatible so I STILL haven’t been able to load my Office Suite CDs! Grrr!

Failure to eject a major problem

There is no manual eject button (streamlined Apple design eliminated all useful tools and information on the drive itself) and disc doesn’t show up on the Mac monitor so it can’t be ejected via keyboard. This happened with two brand new disc dives and two different professional DVDs on two different MacBooks. A real nuisance trying to get the DVD out. Stay away.

Maybe it was an impulse purchase but I haven’t used a cd or dvd in a long time since every audio device is Bluetooth and streaming took over going through music the old school way.
