Not totally compatible
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This drive is perfectly fine but only comes with standard USB connector which is not compatible with the new MacBook Pro that has USB C. Had to pay additional money for an adapter cord to make it work.

Need a Apple Adapter

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a non-Apple Adapter from the Apple website but this Apple external DVD drive will only work with the Apple adapter. When I asked Apple Support why would they sell a non-Apple/Apple-approved adapter that doesn't work with their products...crickets. This is a high-priced drive and didn't want to purchase an additional adapter to use it in my 2019 Mac that has Type-C USB ports. Returned.
