Doesn't work

Doesn't work with my fully updated MacBook Pro running Big Sur. It has been in the box, sealed and unopened since I bought it. Have an extremely important PET/CT disk I need to look at and the drive is not even recognized by my MacBook Pro. Called Apple Tech Support and spoke to a Senior Advisor. He says the SuperDrive isn't working as it should and needs to be repaired. I am LIVID..

One of three attempts produced a cd, the other two failed after several minutes of who knows what, just spinning out. I can't imagine trying to burn a DVD.

Not the quality I expected

It records pictures onto CD's well enough. The issue I have with it is that it took 20 minutes for the player to read and bring up the 150 pictures I had copied. Needless to say this is very frustrating.

Not the best product

It keeps telling me that i have to register the hard drive, but I have already done so. Very frustrating!

compatibility with apple mac computers

It works on my Google chrome book, yet I did not purchase it for that unit

Will Not Work For All Macbook Pros

A list of working models needs to be listed, so customers know if it will work. I would give five stars for only listed models though.

Can't Use With MacBook Pro

It can not be directly plugged into the MacBook Pro. Therefore, I plugged it into the hyperdrive that is plugged into my MacBook Pro, but received a message saying it needed to be powered. Took it to the Geek Squad and they tried their own adaptor first and then another CD/DVD external drive and it would not work with anything. Had to return it.
