Easy to connect and setup. No problems using. Could not be better.

I bought a Mac mini for Christmas and the one thing that I needed was a DVD drive so I could put my games from my old computer on my new computer. Some of the games wouldn't transfer but that was not the fault of the DVD drive. Overall I am happy with the drive.

Small, think drive that just plugs in and ready to go. Will take it with me wherever I need to.

This is a high end product without the high price. It is self feeding and ejects the disk with the click of your mouse. If you are looking for an excellent drive; this is it. No, it does not play Blue Ray disks, but that's what wireless Blue Ray DVD players are for. This drive has exceeded my expectations and then some. Kudos to Apple for continuing a strong commitment to building the highest quality products, and delivering!

I realize CD are going out as more wireless and cloud goes in, but I work in areas with poor internet speeds and still require CD, DVD, etc. Basically, it works but its kind of crazy to need to buy something like this when you have a $3,000 computer. Blue ray would be nice.

Nothing to install just plug into your Mac. Plug and play. Fast read and write speed. Cable is attached to drive so there is no need to worry about misplacing cable or leaving it behind. Recommend to anyone who owns a newer mac without a CD/DVD drive.

I purchased an iMac and at first not having a DVD drive wasn't an issue, but, eventually I did need one so I picked this up. It gets the job done. I can watch my DVDs and burn CDs and DVDs easily.

It's unfortunate that the most recent iMac models do not include a built-in CD/DVD drive, but this definitely gets the job done. Once you attach the drive into your USB port, everything is ready to go. Very convenient and an excellence resource for Mac users!

Love the fact there is only one usb connect to use the drive. It's slim, small, lightweight, and compact which makes it easy to take when traveling. My only complaint is it's a little slow when transferring CD's to iTunes for the price. Not that it's crazy slow but for $80 I would expect a little higher transfer speed. Otherwise love it and would purchase again.

Started off buying the LG Supermulti Blade because it was half the price, boy was that a mistake. I took the LG back and exchanged it for this one. So far I have copied over 50 music CD's onto my iTunes library without a single problem.

Bought and used it as a replacement for my failing internal disk drive and for some reason the Apple OS will not let you use their own disk drive if your Mac came with one, some simple setting changes fixes this and both drives are seen by the OS NOTE if you upgrade your old Mac to El Capitan, the drive will not work even with the setting changes due to enhanced security protections. If you have El Capitan already installed, you need to downgrade the OS and change the system settings to accept your drive. I give Apple credit because there is a note on the package that the drive is only for use with Macs that don't have a drive. So obviously if you have a newer Mac system you will not have an issue. Overall the drive works flawlessly and allows you to burn DVDs easily.

the easiest installation I have ever experienced. well integrated with the iMac. A GREAT BUY!

Only used this portable external drive a couple of times. The sound track comes from the computer so the sound is quite precise, tone excellent. Other than that I cannot say anything bad about this external drive.

I needed a cd-rom for my new iMac since they do not come standard anymore. This is even better as I don't need to have it hooked up all the time and I can travel with it and use other iMacs that are newer.

This DVD drive works great and is easy to use. I've tried another brand of DVD drives and it stopped working after only a couple of months. I'm hoping the Apple brand will last much longer! So far so good!

The Apple USB SuperDrive is the best external CDRW/DVDRW drive out there. Simple setup, and it matches my 2015 iMac perfectly. The product works as described, and I highly recommend it.
