Easy to use and of course easy installation. Great product

Very nice quality, as expected being an Apple product. Works well with my MacBook Air. You do need to get the USB-C to USB adapter to complete the connection. Well worth the money, delivery within two days

The instructions were absolutely minimal. I could note even tell the right side up at first since the bare bones outline drawing just showed a thin box. I finally figure out how to get the disc in correctly, but the display control did not pop up. I had to hunt for it. It is difficult to get the thing to eject a disc if it's not a movie disc. It worked fine for movies, but had a hard time with program and data discs. It does work well when all the ducks are in a row. Quiet and accurate and highly detailed video image.

A must have add on for the Mac. Takes up no space & simple!

This works great with my macbook pro I love it. I can finally enjoy watching DVDs . I wish it also worked with Blue-Ray .

When u compare to either disc drives its features are very dated ... It's not even comparable to compete against other top of the line drives , it looks great and I'm sure the experience is smooth however for $89 I couldn't live with the fact that I am buying a stone compared to the smart tech drives already out there so I returned it

I love everything about this Apple branded superdrive, except for the fact this it is not blu-ray compatible. If you are looking for a blu-ray capable Superdrive, I suggest buying another brand. But, if all you are looking for is a DVD and CD-ROM capable drive, then this is the best drive out there for the money, in my opinion.

I needed this for my mini Mac it gets the job done!

Laptops are now coming out with no cd/dvd players in order to save space and weight. However, you need to listen or watch media with you computer from time to time. Also some software comes on cd/dvd media which is necessary for applications. This device serves both purposes splendidly.

We decided we needed this since the 27" iMac we purchased did not come with internal drive. this is even better as it is portable enough to use with a tablet on the road. Love the mini size, not much bigger than a couple od CD cases stacked together. Great for watching DVD's on the 27" iMac monitor

For what it is, it is awesome. Keep in mind this has a regular USB connection and not a USB C, so you will need a dongle to get it to work with modern MacBooks.

I bought a less expensive not Apple One to begin with it did not seem like a good product. I returned it to Best Buy and purchase the one for a Mac by Apple it has been an excellent product wish I would have bought it in the first place

After years of wanting to switch to Mac I finally got a MBPro and this drive. As is fairly common for laptop users I wanted to use a (usb or some kind of) hub to keep things simple for me when I reconnect at my main place of use (dvd burner, keyboard, etc.). Enter Apple Superdive (NOT Superdrive). Unbelievable to me that in this day and age (2013) that Apple makes a drive like this that will NOT work when connected to a powered usb hub. Ridiculous. I will be happy to return this and get another that will actually work as advertised. Enjoy the MBPro I got a lot. NOT a fan of this Superdive at all. Apple should put on the box that it - unlike all the dozens of other usb gadgets I've used over the years - will NOT work UNLESS directly connected to computer. (Turns out this' well known in Apple user circles, but which was unknown to me till now.)

I use this on a macbook air that is exceptional in its own right with the exception that it doesnt have a CD drive. I still buy cds for my music and this helps get the music off and into itunes. Wonderful device and well built.

DVD drive works just as I expected. loading is quick picture is as good.

Like all other Apple products this is very east to set up and use.
