I have a lot of Cds an d Dvd's so will have a lot of use for this unit So far it has worked flawlessly and the only objection would be that it would have an eject ability built into the product.

Computers dont come with CDROMs anymore! No worries, now that I have this product. Reads and writes both CDs and DVDs quitely and very fast. Plug into USB port and use right away with nothing to configure or download.

I bought this product for the times when I might need to install software from a CD or DVD, or when I might want to add songs to iTunes from an audio CD, or burn a CD or DVD. Very easy to install - just plug it in to a USB port and it works!

The Cd-Rw drive is easy to use and allows me to use my existing programs on my new MacBook Pro. Highly recommend this product if you are transitioning from another computer.

When purchasing my first mac, I was reluctant to do so in part based on macs not having a dvd/cd drive. This meets the need. I still wish macs made laptops with drives but get that most people do not use cds or dvds anymore.

I love my MacBook Air but I hated not having access to a disk drive. I was very excited to bring this home and finally unload many items to my computer. Easy to use, performs good. I have no complaints!

I liked the drive to be part of the computer. But at least it was available to buy. It is easy to use. i do a lot of college projects where teacher require work turned in on a CD.

I thought that I could do without a disk drive but I soon found out that I needed it to reinstall drivers for my old accessaries. I later realized that I needed it to listen to my CD's and to create new CD's.

This SuperDrive does what it needs to do. I only wish it cost less.

i was surprised at the clarity and workmanship of this product.no buttons or switches was set up in a minute and everything is run from the computer.thought it would be hard being a former PC user but apple makes it easy great purchase

We are not to the point of all flash or online media ye, so unfortunately you still need a DVD drive. It would be nice if they would just include the external drive since your paying almost $3000 for a laptop, but not bad for an extra $80.

Works exactly as expected. Easy setup. Kinda light when pushing the DVD in. Let’s me watch my training DVD’s on my computer.

works much better then my original LG, it does sound like something breaking on the inside but that is normal

Went on vacation with my entire family and had family portraits done. Pictures were saved to a CD. Needed to be able to view in addition to the CD of pictures we received from our zip-lining trip. This worked perfectly.

This exactly what I needed to save the info from my old computer before I set up my new one. Makes me feel better that I saved all the stuff even if it turns out I do not need it later. Peace of mind--well worth it

This is the perfect companion for any MacBook or iMac. works flawlessly and with the expected polish of Apple design, highly recommend this over any crummy aftermarket CD drive. Unfortunately, still not a BLU-RAY player.

Purchased this for my Mac computer as it is not equipped with it's own drive. Plug and play. No real experience needed. Purchased to transfer music from my computer to CD. Just what I needed an not a bad deal at that.

Works like any other DVD/CD reader/burner. I had to get an Apple USB cable though to connect it to the USB C port. The drive didn’t work with a Hyperdrive 9 port USB-C Hub.

Having this dvd player is a must with a mac - no dvd drive built in. It works great, nice and compact. Good quality product. I got rid of my other DVD player that was attached to the TV and use this exclusively for all of my DVD needs.

I love this! I still wish it were included in the MacBook Air for the price of both items, however the ability to have such a thin laptop is awesome. Super easy to install. Works as indicated. Really happy w/my purchase!
