Just what I needed to replace a 6yr old MacBook 4 days before school started. Much easier than dealing with crowd at Apple Store and cheaper, after getting best buy points.

My husband has one of these and we love it. I bought one for my laptop so that when I travel, I don't have to take his in case he needs to use his. I just wish the cord was a little longer (as usual with Apple).

It seems like we don't generally need a DVD drive very often so having this as an accessory just makes sense. As with all Apple products, you just plug it in and it works. It doesn't spend an hour trying to find drivers etc. It just works.

The Apple SuperDrive 8x External USB Double-Layer Dvd±rw/CD-RW Drive has been a great choice for use with my MacBook Pro. It performs extremely well, is flexibile for various uses, and its small size makes it easily portable.

I don't like that I can't get a built in cd/DVD drive anymore. This external drive is a great unit. Have to get a separate carrying case tho as I travel with dvds. At least I can use it on multiple computers.

I bought this drive to use with my iMac. It has been wonderful, user friendly and durable. I was torn between this and a "non-Mac" product based on other reviews I read, but I am ready happy I went with this one.

Amazing! Love it. I wasn't sure if it was going to be more of a nuisance to have to keep attaching and detaching. But it actually is small and slender enough to keep plugged in when transporting and with desk top use even better.

Since I didn’t have one built in to my laptop, this has helped me when I needed to use cd for my work and when I just want to enjoy a movie!

I was super impressed at how well this works with my Mac. Super easy to install and doesn’t need a supplemental power cord.

It has the solid feel you expect from an Apple product. Works quite well, although the latest Mac OS has some twerkish behavior recognizing the drive (needed to restart with the drive plugged in, unusual for a Mac).

If you need to see pictures on a cd or dvd, or load software or something else from those formats, this is worth having to plug into a newer Mac that has no cd or dvd drive. Well worth having.

Great product I couldn’t begin the explain how easy this adapter is to use. Simple plug and play product is where’s is at.

I bought this a few months ago and it works exactly as expected. It is just plug and go, so it is very easy to use. I have it paired with a MacBook Air. So far I have only used it to put CDs onto my computer but it works perfectly.

Works great, easy to use. I needed an Apple USB-c to USB adaptor to work, since my computer doesn't have a USB plug. I had another brand adaptor, but it didn't work, had to be the apple brand. The apple brand adaptor is around $20, not a big deal, but just another small little accessory to misplace.

I felt this was the best product for a mini-mac, fits the need just five. Sure I could have made a different purchase, but this one simply works when connected like any other apple product made for an apple product.

works great. this is my 3rd one i bought, my dog keeps eating them. it's hard to find in store, i had to order online. my only suggestion is to stock them more in stores, my watch is dead by the time it is shipped.

I bought this because I was using a new iMac and putting together a video presentation that I wanted to make copies for others. The Superdrive set up by just plugging in the USB and away it went. It worked flawlessly.

Use this drive all the time with my Mac computer. I like the fact that I can use the Qapple keyboard to eject CDs. Works great with Apple.
