I love all my Apple products and needed this DVD/CD player to hook up to my Mac. Now I can transfer my CD's to my MP3 player and not have a bunch of CD's in my car.

I like it , it is simple light and neat ,I highly recomend it

Save time and buy this if you own Apple computers. I tried a generic model that worked for a few weeks. I ended up spending the extra bucks and bought the SuperDrive...works every time on my Mac Mini...

If you own an IMac, then this is the external drive that you want. BB salesman sent us home with LG equivalent, but it would not work with the IMac. Plug and play from there, and you will not believe the speed of this thing!

Just bought a new IMAC and surprise... there is NO disc drive on the side (evidently it's been gone for several years)! So got this to play my CD's on. It works terrific!!! Thanks Best Buy!

I bought this to use with my new iMac cause I want to burn DVD's and I still have CD's. I does what it's supposed to do and is as small as it possibly could be.

It works well and quiet. Looks great with my MacBook Pro and also installed driver on my Windows laptop so works perfect on both machines. Would recommend.

I bought this so I could download all my cd’s into my MacBook. It synced up as soon as I plugged it in and now I have my music all in one place and 4 huge totes of coasters/cd’s. Haha

Although most everything I have has been digitized, I still have a great deal of CD's that I occasionally listen to. It's an excellent performing drive.

Slim, light, and handy. Great to take along with my Macbook Pro. I like it being separate from my Macbook Pro. Allows for a slimmer unit, and is small enough to carry in my already slim case with my Macbook Pro.

Love this external CD drive for my macbook air! Have had it a couple of months and use it almost daily! Fast and quiet and have not experienced any problems yet.

I'm happy with the Apple product. It is user friendly and easy to plug into my MacBook. Very satisfied and highly recommend this product if a user needs an external drive.

I received a MacBook Air for Christmas, and wanted to be able to play CD's on my new laptop, since this was not included on the Mac. Checked around, and this is the best CD player to go with the new MacBook Air.

As I indicated above I do think there should be an eject button on it, but I have had no problem whatsoever with ejecting it from the MacBook. It seems to work great no issues at all whatsoever and it's exactly what I needed!

I tried another brand for disc burning with my Mac. This one works so much better. It has never failed me and I do a lot of burning. Small and compact, it fits in nicely with the limited real estate on my work desk.

I recently bought a new MacBook Pro at Best Buy but it does not come with a DVD burner. I bought the Apple USB SuperDrive and it works great so far. I plugged it in and didn't have to do anything else Great unit.

This device is exactly what I needed for my Mac. A bit pricy but it does everything required. You can not go wrong with an Apple product. I also have an LG drive I use for Bluray and it is both Mac and PC compatible.

The SuperDrive is really a required component. I can not fathom not being able to listen to music CDs or watch video DVDs on an new piece of technology. It definitely does the job. Light and sturdy. I definitely recommend it.

Not a bad idea for CD users like me. Works great! No need to take entire computer in if cd drive ever goes down. Affordable to replace!
