I debated on purchasing this Apple optical drive versus other brand names. all of the reviews said there were no problems encountered witht the Apple drive on my new MacBook Pro. They were right!

Exactly as peomised. Optical drive for all Apple computers. Works with both MacBook Pro and iMac.

The Apple cd/dvd drive is do simple to connect and use. As soon as you connect it your Apple computer will recognize the hardware and you're done. I chose this model as it would work seamlessly with my Apple mini Mac.

As Isaid , an old fashioned gal, I find a lot of old cds to add to my golden oldies collection. Worked like a charm right out of the box. Would recommend to any and all apple owners

I bought this IMac and added the SuperDrive and it turned my opinion around. This drive works flawlessly to add cds to your library and download software.

The player works well. The only thing is that the usb attachment is a little weak. I would be careful. Like with all apple cords, they may not take the test of time. The product works well none the less.

This device works great! I have a Retina iMac and a Mac Air Notebook. Perfect accessory for Apple devices with no built in CD/DVD Drive. The only thing I wished this device could do is play/burn Blu Ray Disks.

The drive was very easy to use. It displayed the content of the CDs, so I knew what to keep and what to toss.

It has served its purpose and is light weight. Not had any issues connecting to MacBook and so far all disks we own seem to be compatible without any issues in burning pictures or transferring docs onto.

I purchased this disk drive for my Mac book. So far it has worked very well with no problems. I thought about purchasing something cheaper but I wanted to stick with the Apple product.

I bought this because my MacBook Air did not have a place to put CDs in, so I bought this. It only works for Apple devices with USB ports, though. No problems otherwise.

As my apple did not have a cd rom player built in I needed a cd rom disk reader for numerous appn loading, music, etc. This is very slim and takes no space on my desk. Very well constructed

Bought some DVD’s and needed something to watch them on. This helped me watch them on my iMac. Easy setup and got to watch my dvd the same day.

Not a bad idea for CD users like me. Works great! No need to take entire computer in if cd drive ever goes down. Affordable to replace!

I didnt think when we bought a mac about not having a cd/dvd drive. This fixed the proble m and works perfectly with the mac.

I purchased a new MacBook a few months ago not fully realizing how much I'd miss the disk reader. This is perfect to remedy that oversight. It is super easy to use- plug in and go. Works perfectly.

I bought this a few years ago when Apple got rid of the disk drive. It worked great for me! I have no need for it anymore but it still works and if you use it, I would recommend it.

I got this to transfer my music CDs to my iTunes. My Best Buy associate that assisted me was extremely well informed! Things are looking good as to the downloading of the cds. No complaints thus far.

My daughter needed a disk drive for her Apple laptop, and this was a great buy. She says it works great.
