Best tv I've ever purchased. Was on a budget and was very surprised at such high quality, for the price. Great picture. Easy hookup. Ok sound (definitely going to buy soundbar). And as I said, great price.

Very lightweight, sleek and easy to use. Needed it to load a program via cd onto a MacBook. No set up, just plugged it into the Mac and loaded the cd into it.

Easily set up to view DVD's and CD's on your laptop. When you have a full library of these devices that includes your favorite artists (music) it is nice to be able to utilize them when not at home and traveling.

Works as expected. It’s a nice option to keep the Laptop from being so bulky, since it not needed all the time.

I love Apple products, but the new iMacs (sans PowerBook) do not have SuperDrives in them! We do have a need for the drive, so had to buy the external SuperDrive. In true Apple fashion, you plug it in, and you're done!

It is nice to not have a CD : DVD drive in the system. To have an external system that you can connect and use is very good business plan. Some days you need it others you do not. It can be broken down to fit in my laptop travel bag.

ahhh, can't believe I waited so long to go for a Mac, You pay more up front, but so much less in time, frustration and repairs than for the normal PC. Feels great to sync all of my devices............

I was a little surprised that a laptop comes without a CD drive, but I see why they chose to go external. The macbook this goes with uses the space for better things. Worked right out of the box with no issue.

Unfortunately, modern Macbooks don't have an internal CD/DVD drive but this works like a charm. This drive is very user friendly with my MacBook pro.

I bought this for a CD to play on my Mac book. It was easy to use and perfect for CDs and DVDs.

This device is just what I needed because I have a MacAir without a CD port, but the only problem is obviously this device is separate from the computer. It is hard to use when you are mobile, but that's the problem you run into when you do not get a computer with the disc port built in. It functions as it is supposed to however.

I needed the external DVD/cd drive to upload old pictures I had saved on cds. Plugs in easy and works great to upload! I definitely recommend this for uploading photos or documents from old cds!

Despite the fact I have a new MacBook Pro and I don’t use cd’s too often, I still use cd’s and burn them as well. This SuperDrive has worked really well for me. It’s price is decent enough. I really onLu bring it out when needed. If you are looking into this and only have usb-c ports, you need to find a usb c to a with the a being the female end. This is because the SuperDrive still uses a usb a.

Excellent quality. Machined aluminum. Everything and more than you would expect. Product in stock. Great add on for a newer mac that needs an external drive.

I still feel I need the option of inputing or burning Optical discs with my computer. Since Apple no longer feels it is a needed item in their products you need to buy and add one on your own. Of course if they did not think people needed it ...they would not sell one. Anyway the superdrive is plug and play and the software in my Sierra OS IMac is already there so there is nothing to download. The superdrive burns all types of discs other than BlueRay. Will not play them either. if you need an optical drive for your mac this is the way to go.

this external super drive is fantastic for listening to cd's and viewing dvd's...and connects easily with usb cable....i highly recommend this product.

I was so happy that I was able to purchase this and still see my photos that are on a CD. It is so simple to use, plug into the back and open it up on the finder. Even a Grandma can do it...

Works very well with my apple computer. Easy to use.

Just plug the drive in and my mac recognizes it. Makes it easy to add a bootcamp os without dealing with setting up a flash drive for booting capability. Must have for any mbp that does not have a drive.
