Great to use I love mine to read my cds to my laptop

I really needed a dvd/cd drive for my MacBook Air and this one fits the bill! It's small compact and lightweight so its easy to carry with my laptop.

Works as expected. It’s a nice option to keep the Laptop from being so bulky, since it not needed all the time.

I bought this drive for my new macbook when it didn't come with one. Although I don't need it very often, it uploads or plays CD's whenever I need it too and it's small enough to fit in my computer bag.

This was the perfect addition to my MacBook Air.. I don't always need a cd drive but it comes in handy.. I enjoy that it was ready to go straight out of the box. Plugged in and inserted the cd and was on my way!

A necessity for those afraid that the "clouds" will one day mysteriously vanish or have invested a gazillion dollars in dvds. At least it can be shared by multiple users and works beautifully.

The drive works great with my MacBook Pro. It is a perfect marriage of technology and innovation. Make sure you get the right adapter for connecting it to your MacBook.

It’s a great add-on for my 16” Macbook Pro! I had to work on a project that was on dvd’s. Picked this up and it worked perfectly for my project!!!

Ok, that may be a bit much to describe a CD burner. But as is typical with apple products, this is a sleek, nice looking unit. Works perfectly alongside my MacBook Pro. Virtually silent and very quick.

Much more expensive than alternative drives but wanted to stay with Apple on a new Imac purchase...works..no problems...would buy alternative drive from other sources the next time.

Works as expected. Could have went with a less expensive choice, but wanted Apple to match new computer: Definitely works well and looks sharp.

The iMac doesn’t have a disc drive so if you want to use a DVD with your Mac it is a must have. I bought the Apple and I am pleased with it.

It's a quick and easy addition to my iMac. Step 1: take out of box. Step 2: plug in to USB. Done! Works simply, easily, neatly. Streamlined look like all the Apple products. Does not support the blu-ray format.

This was so easy to use, you basically just plug it in and it starts working. As with all Apple products, there aren't really instructions included, but I didn't really need any. Works well

I strongly recommend this product. If you need to use CDs and DVDs to install programs, listen to music, play games, etc., you will need this device, as the MacBook Pro does not come with a built-in CD/DVD drive.

When we got the MacBook we got this with it for possibly downloading stuff or watching movies. We haven't used it very much yet, but watching movies with it is great. No problems so far.

I purchased a generic CD drive and could not get it to function due to the need of 2 USB ports for power. Purchased this Apple products and it works perfectly! It's worth the extra dollars!

I was not aware that you would need a power supplying usb converter to use this, I’ve always had good luck with plug and play but this one plugged and didn’t play. Got a power supplying usb and it works great.

I bought this for a CD to play on my Mac book. It was easy to use and perfect for CDs and DVDs.
