DVD drives are not the sexist technology out there now. Bought this to work with my iMac. Does a great job if you still need access to CDs or DVDs. Works great to play DVD movies on the iMac.

The new iMac does not have a disc drive and I have many old photo dics and music cd's I wanted on my computer. This drive is plug and play. Works seamlessly with my new computer.

Great user friendly. USB port self explanatory. Nothing to not like except it is "extra".

I miss having an internal drive in my laptop, but if I have to use an external one, I want it to be small and clean looking. This one works fine and is very small.

I was continually disappointed that the lighter/newer laptops did NOT include disc drives. I was happy to find this one easy to use and able to convert my laptop into a portable movie theater!!

I'm a little old school, so I still like burning CDs, and DVDs of stuff I put together and as backups of old photos. This works great and doesn't create any stress on my MacBook

Great DVD drive for the Apple computers. No hang ups or jams. The unit is solidly built not flimsy and is fully recognized by the apple computers. We can use it on different ones when we need to.

This drive is pretty well what I expected after reading the reviews. Installation was as simple as plugging into a USB port on my Mac Mini. Using it primarily to import some old CD's into ITunes. So far no issues. Very sturdy design, could be faster.

It made my life easy using my iMac. The good thing about external drives is that they can be replaced anytime needed without messing up your computer or waiting days to have it fixed.

Love my new toy. I like to watch movies on my new Mac book Pro and instead of streaming, I decided to buy a dvd player and am thoroughly enjoying it as it is small and light and can be carried anywhere.

Aside from not being built in the cpu, the drive is very easy to use, and has worked like a charm. The separate device is only a minor inconvenience. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to buy.

It's an apple product so you know it will be high quality. Perfect companion to any iMac or MacBook Air. Doesn't need an additional power cord as the USB does it all.

It works as described I have not had nay issues with the drive and have used it extensively. I have been though other brands that quick working after a couple weeks. Satisfied with product.

Bought this to compliment my new Macbook Air and am not disappointed in it's design. Like other Apple products, works well and has a sleek design.

We are apple family. This is great addition because we can save our go pro 5 videos. Very easy plug and save. Straight forward and light to carry around or put away somewhere safe.

Purchased the SuperDrive for an Apple MacBook Air. This is a great addition to any Apple computer product that does not have a built in drive. Easy to hook up and will fit in any carrying case....

I started to go a cheaper route when buying this product. The problem I've found is Apple just can't be compared to anything else! It's great, and I plan to get years of use out of it.

We have some old DVDs with videos and pics that we needed to copy. We are Mac users (3 MacBooks and iMac at home) and needed a drive to take care of this. Works like a charm.

I needed an external hard drive. Although a bit more expensive than others that would work with an i-MAC, going with an OEM accessory is always the way to go.
