This is a high end drive. I don’t use it every day. But when I need it I need it and it’s been a work horse so far.

Satisfied with this super drive. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. And looks great on my iMac stand. Have used about 10 times since purchase with no issues.

This unit is definitely Apple. It is up to their standard. It is compact and light weight.

Good quality unit that worked instantly with my MacBook Pro. I used it to transfer my CD's to iTunes and it was quick and efficient. My only disappointment was the design lacks a built-in cable tidy for storage so the cable is always dangling about.

I got tired of getting hardware and software that requires me to load applications from a disk. bought this and it works great.

The drive has been easy to use and connects easily with my airbook. It allowed me to have a thinner computer to work on and is more mobile.

Purchased this to go with recently purchased IMAC. It does a great job and Imac picks it up and installs and reads/writes well to drive. It has worked without any incidents, Well Pleased.

I needed an external cd/dvd drive and found a great product from Apple. Works efficiently and seamlessly with my iMac. Much better than the non-Apple product I used previously.

Added CD/DVD capability to an new Apple laptop my wife bought. Newer computers delete CD/DVD from units to reduce size, weight and power consumption. Newer storage is cloud, SD or thumb drive. However, still need to access legacy software on CD and movies on DVD. This fills the bill.

Since MacBooks don't have a CD drive built in, this is a necessity for my daughter's college classes. Works just as advertised. Definitely worth buying genuine Apple product.

I purchased this drive to supplement my new Imac. I am now able to download cds and dvds as well as listen to music. This drive is very user friendly and easy to setup.

If you need to read a cd/dvd in any new Mac, this is an essential accessory. The Apple cd/dvd just works natively without any new software installed.
