I purchased the monitor because resolution of the Samsung that I had was not great. The benefit for people that use MacBooks is that it serves as a docking station. Printers, keyboard, etc. can stay plugged into the monitor and it makes it easy to come and go. The downside was that I thought I could also use it with a 2010 mac mini and it didn't work.

Love the bigger picture you can have with the Mac!!!!!

27" display, crystal clear picture. Perfect for desktop display. I purchased this display with mac mini. These two items go perfect together. I was only going to get a 21" display now I'm glad I didn't. No regrets.

Very little to complain about here, more a value judgement on the quality of Apple products. Setup was a breeze, can't even call it setup was that easy. It's a solid if heavy monitor, and you can get a slightly less better monitor for about 2/3 the money. But I'm very happy with the purchase

I really debated NOT getting the Thuderbolt monitors for my new Mac mini because of the price per monitor. I am so glad I went ahead and got them anyway! The picture is beautiful. I don't game but I do keep my family photos on my computer and it was worth every cent! Awesome product!!

I purchased this to use for a number of things, but mostly for editing photos and it is perfect for that! It has a magnificent screen and gives perfect clarity. It is a bit expensive, but I feel it will out last a lot of the cheaper monitors out there and is worth the extra money.

I was nervous changing to Mac since it was my 1st time. Used Windows all my life and now I am learning the Mac way and loving it. Didn't realize how easy it is to catch on. With the monitor screen being so big and the picture/image quality being clear, I love working and playing games on the computer.

Great big monitor and external drive access is quite convenient.

Amazing detail and clarity on this monitor....obviously Apple's ease of plug and play setup....was so impressed after hooking it up and looking at the side by side difference in detail between it and my other monitor, I immediately ordered another one!

This is my first Apple product when it comes to monitors. Apple knows what they are doing regarding design and innovations. I highly recommend you taking a look at this product and comparing it to other products.

This monitor setup is great! I connect my laptop to it and leave my keyboard, mouse, Ethernet and other usb 2 peripherals connected to it. Have also used it with Mac mini i5 (thunderbolt) and it was a great experience. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because it needs an update and is slightly overpriced for what you get. Apple give us better resolution and usb 3 in this display and we'll stop griping!

Super Clear image. Minus one star because thunderbolt compatibility is uncertain.

Excellent monitor. It is hard to lay down $1,000 bucks on a monitor, but its hard to argue Apple's quality. It would be nice if they would update this monitor to look more like current iMac's. Nonetheless, this device functions flawlessly. I have had no issues.
