Thunderbolt?? Caveat Emptor, Buyer Beware!

You search for a Thunderbolt 3 cable expecting USB-C ends and this item comes up as an alternative. The product picture shows the ends in an ambiguous view that doesn't make clear that these are mini-DIsplayport and not USB-C. From the side view, it could easily be confused with USB-C. Shame on the manufacturers for not using clear nomenclature. I merely want to quickly transfer data from my old Mac to my new Mac by plugging into the USB-C ports. Little do I realize that "Thunderbolt" covers a multitude of versions, connectors, etc.!! And for the manufacturer, these are indeed "Thunderbolt" connectors. If this is truly what you need, then it is probably a fine product.

After many fails i realized i can count on apple !

Canceled my purchase yet item is available

Yet the open box item is still advertised as available. Maybe somebody is making interest money or higher exposure from my purchase yet I get nothing for it.
