It is the best Apple TV yet and so easy to set up. Love the new remote, so easy to use and love that it has SIRI now.

We got rid of our satellite dish last year, put up an HD antenna and bought this Apple TV. The picture is amazing, much better than Amazon or google chrome because apple downloads content before showing. Tons of apps. Watching HBO and Showtime on app. Watching all the NCAA basketball games on app. iTunes movies, tv shows, and music all available. Best part is Siri function where you can ask for a movie or tv show and it will find it all apps including iTunes, Netflix, Hulu.

Love this. Great for downloading almost any app. Easy to use. Love that you can type through the phone.

Purchased the Apple TV after being tired of paying high cable/satellite bills for movie channels and yet having nothing on. Very easy to set up and watch Netflix or any other type of channel that is offered by Apple/iTunes. Plus having Apple phones, iPads and Mac computers it made sense to get the Apple TV. Can use AirPlay to watch anything from an Apple mobile or portable device to the Apple TV and share with others or even watch shows available from on device to the TV.

I upgraded a last generation Apple TV with this one. Everything is better from the last generation. You can pick the applications you want from the Apple TV Store and not clutter up your home page. The operating system is smooth and the picture quality is great. The remote is nice as well with a lightning cable charged battery. Siri searching is good for movie/music content. I wish it would access general info from the internet but it doesnt. I am happy with the purchase.

Easy to set up. Would like a few more alternatives particularly Amazon Prime. Remote works well. Siri nice addition

I got the new version to replace last year's version that was working fine. Excited about knowing that I can get 7.1 surround when Apple will start releasing those movies. It does not do 4K but I am hoping with a software update this will be something Apple will support. I'm not into a lot of apps because I use this for the basics as well as my music but if you're in the apps and games there are lots of them and this device can become very interactive if you'd like.

Love Apple TV but this one is finally more functional. Sony 4K tv turns on with Apple TV (from remote) so no dealing with android or google anything, games are entertaining but now I can watch programs from Argentina as if I was still living there by downloading apps!! Volume control from remote ... At last!!!

Much better interface than before. Siri adds a whole new level of simple. Way faster than the previous model.

My main reason for wanting to upgrade was the Bluetooth capability in the new AppleTV. I love being able to use my Bose headphones and just drown everything out, including my cat being bad around the house. I didn't realize how many positives there'd be - AppleMusic, trackpad remote, Siri, etc. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade from the previous AppleTV model or thinking about getting their first.

I got the new apple tv 32gb for Christmas and I absolutely love it. I have the last years model as well which has worked great no complaints. and my wife and I gave it to our son for his new tv. I love the new remote how it how it is touch sensitive and has a mic which allows you to talk into instead of typing which saves a lot of time. also its great because you can download your own apps and games instead of waiting for the apple tv to update to add new apps.

I will say that I was a little hesitant about switching over to the updated version of Apple TV. Especially since it took me a while to get used to the set up. This latest version of Apple TV is WAY better and so sensitive that I've turn it on accidentally at time if I slightly push any button. Highly recommend and worth upgrading to. Purchases and streaming is way easier. Plus, the option of choosing the apps you want is more of a reason to do the upgrade.

I liked the old Apple TV and the new one improves upon it in every way. Siri is actually useful for searching for movies be shows. The App Store is good with lots of great games for the kids, most of which support iPhones as second controllers. Would be nice, though, if the remote included a strap. You shouldn't have to make an additional purchase for something to keep the remote from flying out of your hand. Nintendo figured this out a long time ago.

The unit is much faster and loads title art instantly which is good for those who have large libraries. The remote takes some getting used to as well. Apple skipping the 4K might be a good thing for some especially if they are waiting for the HDR to settle out since early adopters of UHD titles on the new blu Ray players are having several issues. If you plan on games get a controller the remote is not that good of one especially pinball titles.

Bought it the week it came out and it was well worth the price. I have the 32GB version as I don't play video games, just use it to stream. The new remote makes it easier to go back and forth, and with the Siri voice action, it makes it easier to find shows and movies. One of the things that I do like about it is that instead of automatically uploading all the available apps, you choose with apps you want to download and set up on your home page.

I bought this device to compliment a Mac Mini that I use as a HTPC. I find that I now use the Apple TV more than the Mac Mini. The interface is excellent. I really like the remote and find it easy to use. I am excited to see what new apps come and would love to see a DVR app in the future. The only disappointing thing is the lack of an optical output (Apple TV 3 has one) which required me to by yet another box to connect to my Sonos Playbar.

We purchased Apple TV as a supplement to our cord-cutting endeavor. The device is easy to set up, and has many apps to choose from. We use it with Hulu Plus and HBO Now for television and Pandora for music. The new remote is easy to use and took zero effort to pair with our LG TV. I haven't had a chance to explore all the apps (television or games) yet, but they look very similar to what you can get from the app store on any iOS device.

Really love this little jewel. For a couple years I thought they were a fad, but once I started looking at what they could do realized how handy it could be. It's nice to wirelessly play music, videos and photo slideshows on my tv quickly and easily. Also nice for streaming Netflix etc. really like how I can even get data off my PC/laptop to my tv through iTunes. The addition of Siri was a nice touch. Overall it really is a great device.

The one feature I thought I would use the least ended up being the strongest component and easiest navigation tool; Siri. The seamless integration, aligned with the universal navigation requirements for all apps have made this my go to media center. It plays my Plex 1080p with no issues whatsoever, would recommend this to many. Only thing that would make it absolutely perfect is a tv tuner for hd antenna, but hey, a geek can dream.

The new Apple TV has a lot of needed features. Apps, speed, better interface and improved remote.
