Not really one here who finds a need for the HDD feature of the newest form of the Apple TV, but it may at some point find itself useful as I learn about the advantages of this. I’ve always been a fan of Apple TV back to Gen 2 and this one builds on all the best parts of those older Gen models with the 4K streaming and exceedingly simple setup from packaging to streaming from multiple services all by a quick confirmation code and visual setup using the iPhone. Apple went above and beyond with making this literally easy enough for a 5 year old to configure. Another neat feature is that my channel button on my tv actually changes the channels on the Spectrum TV app streaming from the Apple TV. Device through HDMI. Remote for Apple TV also automatically programmed itself to control the volume on my TV and turns the tv on and off when I turn the Apple TV on and off. No mistaking the fact that this is a lot pricier than the competing platforms but having used / tried to use Chrome and first Gen Google TV, not the latest Google TV and Android TV, yes they are actually different despite all running Android software, and Roku devices built in and external both, it is worth the extra money for the superior end user experience. Especially if you are in the Apple / Mac world already. Also, nothing works better than Apple Airplay that doesn’t involve an HDMI cord being used, it just works without fail.

Just incredible. Easy to install, and affix to the back of a wall mounted HDTV utilizing the TotalMount accessory. Works seamlessly with the original Apple HomePod to provide outstanding sound from the device rather than using the TV speakers. Highly recommend if you are in the Apple ecosystem of products. Using YTTV, this is the best option if you are willing to pay a bit more to have a great way to access streaming (e.g., Netflix, Prime, Apple TV+, YTTV, etc.).

This Apple TV 4K is very good quality and function. I have 4 FireTV edition in my house and they are works good and convenient. But Apple TV 4K is clearly better than FireTV and controller. Every Apple products are little over priced I think but products are better than cheaper one.

Works great. Bought to watch streming movies only available on Apple. Apple's set up of device took too long.

I’ve upgraded all the older ones with the 4k version. If you are coming from the non-4k version then it worth the update

Easy to setup, The interface is simple and easy. The remote is nice and small

Switched from firesticks to Apple Tv and I'm so glad I did. The interface is so easy to use. I love how the apps all automatically connect to my account. I'm slowly replacing all the firesticks in the house. 32gb is sufficient for all my needs since I am not a gamer but I can still use tons of apps. The remote charges quickly with an apple charging cord and works through walls so I can store my components in the closet behond the wall and the remote still works in the next room.

Picture look a bit better than the previous version. Much faster and loving the new remote.

Best Streaming Device on the market. I have used just about every platform and can say that the Apple TV is the best. First of all, NO ADS. The home screen has no ads unlike all of the other subsidized devices. Second, the new remote is a significant improvement over the old design. Third it powers it’s way through 4k content. No matter where I played 4K content from, it just works. The addition of being a HomeKit hub and also having Thread support is just a bonus at this point.

Ordering the product on line and setting up for in store pick was fast and efficient. Apple makes a quality product. It was easy to unbox and set up after connecting to my home wifi. The remote is study and feels like it will not break if were dropped. The apple tv itself is small, sleek and compact. Easy to install apps after signing in with apple ID. A definite satisfaction buy!

Really enjoy the Apple interface. However, the controller disc and encircling directional ring are very touchy, and even after a year of use, still not mastered. Frequent “oh crap” that is not the action i was trying to perform.

As far as I'm concerned, this is the best streaming device. Easy to use. Intuitive. Clean interface. Great new remote.

If you're knees deep in the Apple ecosystem, this is the obvious answer - it works as a smart home hub, it offers super easy setup just by tapping your iPhone on it, it's the best solution for sharing from your mobile/tablet to the TV and more. It's fast, it's zippy, and the remote is much less frustrating to use. (Although I find the placement of the Play button confusing - they moved it from it's prior location so you'll find yourself hitting the Mute button far too often).

I've owned every set top box under the sun at this point, rokus, chromecasts, nvidia shield. The speed and ease of use of the Apple TV blows all of them out of the water. The continued software support, and the new remote design put it ahead of the competition. Its integration with other apple products (homekit app, airpods audio) is an excellent bonus.

So happy with purchase and ease of use. I strongly recommend over alternative brands!

I was a owner of the previous generation Apple TV 4K and while there may not be too many differences overall, the new remote is 100% worth the upgrade. It is much more user friendly and way easier to navigate through menus. Having a dedicated mute is much appreciated. This thing is a rockstar and handles everything I can throw at it no matter the format.

Say what you want about Apple. They put out some of the best quality products made! This is no different.

Bought this Apple TV to be the media hub for all my content. It is easy to use and to synchronize with other devices, such as my TV, smart lights, etc. Wish it had a connection so i could run my cable box through it. Great that it has it's own app store as opposed to previous versions. Even better that there are more options on the remote. As always, apple create user friendly products that are simple yet powerful.
