I love how easy it is to set up and how my other apple devices work with this. The only negative thing I have is the storage. 32GB allowed me to download about 15 apps for watching content and 10 games. Other than the small storage everything else is great about this device.

Honestly though, I never use the “touch” portion I find it so gimmicky and inaccurate to use. If I could turn off the “touch” part of the middle wheel I would. And if you’re getting an Apple TV and have a 4K TV this is your only option. If you don’t care about the Apple ecosystem then don’t get this, pick up a Fire TV or a Roku or something cheaper.

Excellent remote for an already solid streamer

My kids tell me that the new remote limits some of the gameplay that was based on the entire area of the remote that was touch pad. Otherwise the unit is a bit more expensive than other streaming devices, but does the job at an exceptional level especially for those in the Apple ecosystem.

Glad I upgraded

The new version really gave me some of the features that I wanted, 4K, HDR, new remote, and overall more powerful unit. Still have my old one for the TV in my other room.

Well worth the wait. I subscribe to all the streaming services and have recently cut the cord to no longer have cable. This is the absolute perfect entertainment hub and it's lightning fast to navigate to wherever you want to be within seconds. You also get a free year of AppleTv+ so thats just more icing on a completely delicious cake. Buy it!

Setup was easy using my apple XR iPhone. I am not sure if it makes my tv look any better, but the apps in my 6 year old Samsung tv couldn't be upgraded anymore. This keeps my tv from becoming obsolete for awhile longer. I can now obtain any app that I choose. The remote works very well too. I like the fact I can pair my AirPods too.
