    The AppleTV itself is fine, but I don't see any difference in performance between this version and the previous generation 4k version. While the performance is about the same, the remote is worlds apart and far better than the lousy one they had before. I just purchased 4 new Siri remotes that work great with my older Apple TVs around the house. I recommend just purchasing the new Siri remote for 59 dollars instead of upgrading the Apple TV itself. The remote works great with the previous two generations of Apple TVs.

    While this is a good streaming box, it is NOT a good value, unless you are all in on the Apple ecosystem. Again, it works well and is good, but Roku, Google, and Amazon all make boxes better and more flexible than this device. Being stuck on iPhone (iMessage) is not worth its price and admittedly closed off garden of TV apps. If you have a Mac and an iPad and want something premium this fits you perfectly.

    Same exceptional appletv but I don't really like this remote over the previous generation. I put a pop socket on the older generation and never had any issues
