1st gen vs 2nd gen
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is basically a 1st gen Apple 4k tv with a 2-3 second increase in processing speed. Sure you get Wifi 6 capabilities and Hdmi 2.1 port, but do you have the router, the TV, or the content for that to matter at the moment? Unless you are upgrading from HD to 4k.....wait until there is a good reason to upgrade.

Difficult most of the time when you try to bring in the channel you choose, it jumps at last second to another channel. It does not bring in all of our local station’s.

Apple TV 4K latest model

This model comes with the new remote but honestly, it is not a great remote. It has limitations and doesn't work as other remotes do. If you are not a techy person then you will struggle with the remote and how it works.

Occasionally I have to unplug it and plug it back in as it will lose cec connection and will not automatically switch my tv to the correct input. Also kind of unhappy that the new Siri remote does not have an accelerometer for playing games.
