The Apple TV has the feel and functionality you expect from an apple product. The new remote is satisfying to click and all the apps for all your services are available plus games and music if you subscribe to Apple Arcade and Apple Music. This is a no brainer if you own one or more apple product. It all works in sync with the apple experience.

The new Apple TV remote is still not user friendly, the redesign of the pad and the directional buttons is nowhere near perfect. The addition of the On/Off button is a nice feature, and works well with my TV’s

Apple remote lacks specific functions for buttons, dual function buttons are a pain and frustrating. I recommend buying a multi function remote and put this one in the drawer!

They promised I’d get it in two days. Several weeks later it still has bit shown up. The shipper doesn’t have it either. Avoid.

Help! We cannot get our iPhone to connect to our new Apple TV streaming apparatus. We cannot complete this review until we can get connected.

Limited success. Every time we use it, it has turned off at least once every time on its own. This is very frustrating when trying to watch a sporting event.

A decent streaming platform. I found the WIFI a bit weak, so I directly connected it. I could not find apps for services I use, and so I needed to connect a ROKU.

The box works fine but I am not impressed with the show lineup. Apple needs to do a better job in programming before I recommend this to friends.

Worked fine but the offerings of Apple TV were disappointing. Many of the apps and programs I could get with my cable TV vendor. Returned this item because one of the movies had sound in the trailer but no sound when the movie came on. Another movie did n't provide the cost of the movie so I had to click on it and then got charged for watching the movie when I didn't watch it ($20.00 rental!). Apple refunded the charges but I still took it back.

Really not sure I actually see any major improvement over the past iterations. Control is different but think this falls flat.

its the same Technology new controller, I wasted my money, no improvements at all, I actually like the other controller better, not worth it..

Not a bad streaming device if not one of the better devices. BUT it really depends on your home theater setup and what apps you use. Youtube app has an inconvenient way of switching to HDR if the AppleTV4k is set to HDR. Every single video I click on will make my tv screen go blank and reappear stating "HDR on" etc. Tried tinkering with all video settings on the AppleTV4k and my own TV but after some research it sounds like Google intentionally left the app in a bad state for the AppleTV4k with no plans for fixes. (Yes changing video setting to SDR circumvents this issue but every other streaming device I've owned never needed to) Netflix app is also not great depending on your sound setup. I like to switch movies + shows audio to 2.0 stereo in Netflix whenever possible but for some reason this is missing in the Apple4k version of the Netflix app. All in all I really wanted to like this device but when at least 2 of my most used apps are poorly implemented it makes it a hard sell.

The Apple TV however not a big difference between the previous model I wish I could come up with a different design for the hardware

The button sometimes gets funny. Not working every now and then. Doesn’t feel like apple quality.

HDMI stopped working after a few months sad I have to get a replacement

It disconnects from my wifi very frequently however can’t tell if that is the Apple TV or my internet failing

While it does what it's supposed to do, the big button is not what I was expecting. You slide your finger over the button and the cursor moves. The slightest touch and, all of a sudden, the cursor is somewhere else. But I don't have much choice in the interface. Very frustrating.

This is the second apple product I have purchased from Best Buy in 2 months. Each came with a free 3 month subscription to Apple TV+. The email to redeem the subscription says clearly on it that it is for new and returning subscribers. It is NOT. As a returning subscriber the code didn't work. With my first purchase I called to get it resolved, and after being transferred 4 times, i was sent a new redemption code, which was supposed to work. Guess what? same problem. I don't have time to do this again. Two months later buy another apple product, GUESS WHAT? same thing. Redemption code only for new subscribers, though the best buy email says new and returning. On hold for 1 hour, transferred to 4 departments, still nothing. Apple TV is fine, but don't count on the Apple TV+ subscription unless you are a new subscriber.

Too complicated. One of the few and ole products I don’t own.

Its an okay product not for android users. Hard to install 3rd party apps
