Great unit. Very easy to install and use! Great Apple quality...

I’ve always had an Apple TV, this newer model is the same you may be used to, but with improved processing and graphic quality. The only thing I would mention is that the new remote has a bit of a learning curve compared to the “old” design.

I had the two generations previously and just moving up to this one just feels a lot smoother the new remote is so much more easier if the remote is not your style using your iPhone is super easy and you have zero to no lag I love this thing and I want to buy two more for each room in the house

Apple got it right with this remote. It was weight and tactical buttons, not the old trackpad. You can really control your Apple TV. Super easy to set up and replace your old remote. It's pricey but worth it if you use Youtube TV you want a better remote.

This is so easy to use and set up. This is my second Apple TV and the new 2nd generation latest model. Easy to speak into to find what I want. The box does not take up a lot of space as it is small and so is the remote. Love the shows I am able to get with it.

Love the new remote! The new remote is much better than the old one. It has a power button and a labeled back button with an arrow. I attached it to my Samsung TV and it is showing great picture quality. I'm very pleased with my purchase, would definitely recommend to anyone, you will have no regrets!!!!

So the title should clue you in, these are great, I was a big fan of the Chromecast when it came out, sub-$50, worked well, didn't have a remote, worked with most apps. Seemed too good to be true, right, well it was, then I moved on to Roku, they don't have services so they won't get in fights with people to carry channels, etc. Well Roku now as a service and is getting in fights with people, so now on to Apple, who has a service but doesn't want to fight with anyone just include all the services under their app. It works great to be able to see what's up next from Hulu, Apple TV, Paramount+, Netflix and many other services. Want a Roku like experience, all you have to do is pop over to the app view and you can go and browse the app like normal. I am also using this as the Apple Home hub for my house.

I’ve been a Apple TV fan since the beginning. I’ve had all generations since the beginning and now with the upgraded 4K model from the last generation. All around awesomeness and controller is the best upgrade. I haven’t done the airpod personal video viewing yet but can’t wait to try it!

Easy to set up - and so much better than the earlier versions

The new designed remote control it’s a lot better than the previous model. Still wish it had backlit buttons. The Apple TV lacks any sort of USB expansion capability so you cannot use this device with any sort of USB DAC Or external storage. The Apple TV interface is very simple and straightforward and no adds. To be perfectly honest the only reason I purchased one of these is because I recently moved to an iPhone and required this device for HomeKit remote control and availability. I primarily use my 2019 Nvidia shield pro for streaming but wanted to compare it to the Apple TV.

I had the previous version of the Apple TV, I want to say 1080p, 4th Gen? It was working well, but the glass remote was falling apart. I had tried Sofabaton remote and it worked well with Apple TV as well, but other people in the house didn’t like it. The volume button finally gave out on that 4Th Gen Apple TV remote…These new remotes are $60 something, I couldn’t justify spending that much, so I spent 3 times much and got this Apple TV. Initially I was disappointed by the remote, later I learnt that I didn’t know how to use it. The track pad is still there, it’s built in to the dial pad or inside the directional buttons. Solid and very well built. Can I tell the difference between 1080p Apple TV and this one? Nope! Only one show seems sharper, otherwise I can’t tell the difference.
